David Janow, CEO & President, Axiom Foods

David Janow has arrived to the position of CEO and President of Axiom Foods after an extensive education and work experience that makes him uniquely qualified.  He received a B.S. degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Miami, followed by a JD then MBA from Pace University School of Law and Lubin School of Business. His education culminated with an LLM from Fordham University in New York.  After passing the New York, Connecticut, and California Bars, he worked for Cadwalader, Wickersham and Taft on Wall Street. Next, David joined his mother and father in the family business, helping grow New York’s Citadel International Corporation’s commodities distribution network. After designing and setting rice ingredient manufacturing standards that are still followed today, he became solely focused on the untapped possibilities of WGBR fractions.  A sought-after industry advisor and speaker, David is continuing to set new standards while dedicating himself to the creation of better foods through rice, for all stages of life.

David Horwich – Managing Director, Green Hasson Janks

David Horwich has worked as an investment banker and advisor to public and private businesses for 23 years. His clients range in size from lower middle-market businesses to those with hundreds of millions in revenue across a wide variety of industries. His work has provided him with expertise in all facets of transactional activity, including raising capital, and buying and selling businesses. This experience provides him with the foundation to improve his client’s financial profile as a strategic advisor. Horwich holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, where he served as Vice President of his class. He also holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.

Donald J. Snyder – Partner, Green Hasson Janks

Donald Snyder has over 25 years experience in public accounting and chairs the Firm’s Assurance and Advisory Department, the Quality Control Department, and the Firm’s Food and Beverage Practice. He is a well-known business consultant in the food distribution, food processing and manufacturing industries. A popular industry speaker, Don also writes for the firm’s CPA Food Bites blog and hosts a number of food and beverage networking groups. Don is involved in assisting clients with designing and assessing their internal accounting controls and has been a frequent lecturer in this area. He has also written several articles on the subject of fraud prevention and detection in the work place. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Don is a competitive master swimmer.

Ed Lim – CFO

Ed Lim has been in the corporate entertainment industry and finance for over two decades. As an executive consultant, he has worked as a stand-in finance executive for various entertainment companies; Universal Music Group, Capitol EMI, Shout Factory and Jon Peters Entertainment as current and past clients. Prior to starting his own consulting company, Ed ran his own division for Universal Music Group and worked corporate finance for UMG, EMI, Warner Music Group and USA Networks. He expanded his expertise to the natural products industry over five years ago.
